Ingredients: Dry Chickpeas – 1 cup, Mayo Sauce, South-west Sauce, Tomato Sause, Spices – garlic powder, salt, red chili powder. And customizations are per taste and availability!
Can be taken raw as a nutritional value or with white noodles for a full good meal.
Step 1. Take 1 cup of dry chickpeas and wash it. Soak it in hot water with mild salt for 2-3 hours. Leave it soaked and you don’t have to do anything in this time. In case you need to make it in morning, dip it in water for overnight, normal water will do, warm water needed when — you need to make it urgently within few hours. Best practice is overnight dip in normal water.
Step 2. After 2-3 hours, take the chickpeas and heat it in pressure cooker for 10 minutes. Let the steam go out then open the pressure cooker. You may heat it in any other way as per your availability. Aim is to soften the chickpeas by boiling it well.
Step 3. Take it out, the boiled chickpeas, from the cooker. And put it in a plate after separating the water or drying the water by heating it for a while more.
Step 4. Put on the sauces you would like for chickpeas, I took, Mayo, Tomato sauce and South-West Sauce.
Step 5. Put on the spices you want to taste with boiled chickpeas – I took, salt, ginger, chili.
Step 6. Mix it well in the plate. And it looks yum to be taken raw. Else follow the next step and make it a meal.
Step 7. Take white noodles and heat it. Spread it on a plate.
Step 8. Dress the white noodles with the spicy chickpeas and enjoy the meal.
